Prothesia adapting its business model to support during the COVID-19 pandemic, prints the 3D swabs used in PCR tests, designed a medical grade mask, the Prothesia Shield, made of PETG (the only material approved by the FDA for masks), which protects from aerosols in any direction of the face, ultra light and anti-fogging. Additionally, in collaboration with CINVESTAV-Langebio, Prothesia developed a self-sampling kit so that the person can obtain their own sample from home or office.
